Growing up on a family farm in the Lockyer Valley, was invaluable for the knowledge I needed to be able to help farmers in my business today. For more than two decades I grew, packed and marketed vegetables with my brothers. My focus for NQ Farmshed is to develop strong relationships with farmers. It is the foundation of everything I do both professionally and personally.
I have been involved in the sugar industry for over 40 years, firstly as a grower and for the past 17 years as an agronomy industry advisor.
As an accredited Fertcare and Agsafe advisor I am able to provide my business customers a range of options in Farm Management including soil testing, nutrient plans and chemical recommendations.
Scott has been an agro for 12 years and before moving to Qld Scotts background was Broadacre crops, pasture and forage. Scotts favourite part about being an agro is designing and refining farming systems to be sustainably profitable long term and hopes to be able to support growers to achieve their desired farming outcomes.
